Panelist Commentary
Easy to watch, attractive person, good instincts, sharp mind. At moments in the first scene she was sporadically connected to the situation but then fell back on an idea of the dire situation rather than living the real experience. Class work will free her.
GARY SWANSON
Acting coachAnne's screen test was not bad, but I want to see more emotion from her under the circumstances. We don't really see her fear. You can tell she has talent but this style feels too aware of the "scene". She may have needed more time for character analysis.
CRAIG SINGER
Director, Perkins' 14In a high energy, fear driven scene, one must make sure to express those emotions with everything they've got. Some of Anne's dialogue felt rushed, as if she were trying to get through the lines: in the future, take more time with the dialogue, so each emotion and reaction can be felt more deeply.
