Direct the Film

Once the concept and writer have been chosen, we will select a director to bring the film to life. Use your director's pitch video to explain your intentions as a director to the Lionsgate production team. You have the synopsis and scene sample to understand the story and characters - so within this extremely short format, how you intend to make the film unique and memorable is more important than summarizing plot. What will your film look like? What will it feel like?

If you have the time and resources, we suggest shooting a scene inspired by the selected concept for your pitch video. This can be taken directly from the scene sample or something that captures your vision for the story. We will be judging your ability to engage the viewer while making the most of limited resources - not the gloss of high production values.

You've got such a nice camcorder behind you at 8:41, why don't you use it?

Like are you using a cheap camcorder to record rather than that professional one?
It doesn't make sense, if you have it then why not use it?

Its under my impression that you only had 2 minutes or so to cut your pitch. You should get automatically disqualified for not following directions.

The directing work is hard to watch. (I'm sorry). It makes me claustrophobic.

You can at least do some shots with the camera outside showing you driving. The camera shots you did on your pitch is in one spot, inside the car.

The shots need to be inspiring and smooth. Yours is rough. Most of your shots are shooting from the back seat while driving. I doesn't develop the characters much. You should of at least mounted your camera on the car window or use duck tape.

This has a lot of potential, but I don't see any character development, due to directing. Sorry, but I had to review this.
