Adam's Apple

Adam has a secret crush on his masochistic teacher, Ms. Quince. She dominates him with a skillful mixture of subtle innuendo, double entendre, and put downs. Adam daydreams of fulfilling her every whim, but can't find the courage let it show. He bottles his passion, and fills his life with a diversity of interests. It seems to work for a while, until he gradually slips into paranoid schizophrenia. He can't differentiate between his dreams and his reality anymore. Adam starts to cut himself and look at dead animals with curiosity and no emotion. He creates an alter ego who lives in his mirror and begins to haunt his every step. Will Adam succumb to an evil of his own creation? Will he ever stop once he starts? Can the people around him recognize the signs and get him the help that he so desperately needs?
