There is a new kind of hunter out there; he is smarter than your average hunter, he is more focused, calculating and ruthless. Once he has learned of you NOTHING will stop him from tracking you down. He doesn't do it for the money, he doesn't do it for fame, in fact he would rather no one knew he even existed. He does it for fun, they call people like him Blood Hunters and they call what he does a sport, a Blood Sport....
There is a different kind of prey out there; it is constantly adapting to an ever changing world. It has been around since the dawn of time and no matter how many times you kill it; it keeps coming back better, faster and smarter than before. It can survive in almost any environment and does not respect boarders or boundaries, it will go anywhere it has to in order to escape the ultimate chaos; Death...
As far as modern history is concerned it evolves in the blink of an eye. Yet no matter how many forms it takes, no matter how many times you kill it, it has but one name. This is the prey a Blood Hunter stalks, this prey may have many faces but its nick name remains the same, DNA.
This is the story of a Blood Hunter called "Homes". Don't let the name fool you he's not your average "Home Boy" at the ripe old age of 25 he holds more PHD's in Biology, Chemistry and Geology than your mom has home cooked recipes. They say that he's what you'd get if Mc Giver, Crocodile Dundy, Indiana Jones and Sherlock Holmes were to have a love child. He would agree but he'd include Einstein because he "hates the rest of those clowns", but he LOVES Einstein (even MORE then he loves Darwin).
Homes will go anywhere on the planet to find a rare or exotic species just to get a sample of its blood so he can catalog it in his data base. He loves this job because he actually gets PAID to do something he would do anyway! Yes, he gets paid extremely well because he is the BEST at what he does (If you are willing to overlook the numerous international incidents he has either caused or come close to causing in the name of the hunt). You see Homes is not only good, he is driven because he is not the only hunter out there BUT he is one of the few with, morals. He does not KILL, he hunts; to him there's a difference. There are others motivated by fame, greed or both and they will kill if they have to or if they must.
He has to catalog every species in the world or die trying, he is THE Blood Hunter and this is his SPORT.
