P.O.W.

So the father wakes up to see his wife sitting before 5 of the masked terrorists. Himself and his 2 kids sit behind the 6th who is operating the camera. 4 of them hold AK-47's, the one in the middle holds up a piece of paper, and has a machete visibly strapped to his waist. The wife sits in the orange jumpsuit, feet in front of her and tied, hands bound behind her back, and a piece of cloth tied around her eyes. The middle terrorist starts speaking aloud, reading Arabic from the piece of paper he holds. After a few moments, where the music intensifies, and the father sits helpless, the terrorists lunge forwards and push his wife to the floor. The one holding the machete climbs over her and starts cutting away at her throat, after a few more moments they remove her head and hold it in front of the camera. Days go by, they are fed very little, mostly rotten scraps. Suddenly the terrorists, pull the 17 year old son from the group and plop him on the floor before the camera. The same thing happens, right before the fathers eyes. A few more agonizing days go by, and they come for the 21 year old daughter. The father looks around hoping help will arrive, but nobody comes, and they kill the daughter as well on camera to send to the news. A few days go by, the father finally gets pulled in front of the camera, he manages to loosen the rope that bounds his hands and right when they go to tackle him and behead him, he jumps up and tries to grab a gun. He gets stabbed and shot in the process, but before he dies he manages to take out one of the terrorists by friendly fire from being shot at.
We came up with this idea because so many horror movies slaughter innocent people, for no reason at all. With this movie it is based off of fact, the terrorists DO take hostages that are not military, and almost all of them have been killed on camera. We think that this movie will scare the pants off people because it's one of those types that could really happen.

the movie is gonna be about a family that travels to a European country. They stray too close to where the terrorists have camps and get kidnapped. The terrorists start by filming an execution video with his wife, they move on a few days later to his 23 year old daughter, and a few days later they execute the father. They finally get to his 23 year old son, he manges to escape and somehow sneak out of the town and find US troops. He flies home and tells people he heard them talking about invading the US, but nobody believes him. But the day comes where they do try to invade, it became personal towards him too because he had escaped. They find out where he lives and go to his house. He burns his house down to make them think he is dead. He meets up with other people and starts a small militia. They take out some of the troops here and there. Towards the end, he convinces everyone that he's meeting the leader of the terrorist group, to talk about peace, he's tired of the killing. Everyone thinks he's nuts, telling him its a trap, their gonna kill him, blah blah blah. The terrorist leader meets him with about 20 other troops to kill him.

"Haha, did you really think i came here to talk about peace? You were stupid to think i came here for that." Says the terrorist leader

"You took my family, you've killed some of my friends, and tons of innocent people. I even lost my job because of you. But there's one thing you cant take, and thats my freedom, or this country." (Says the main char)

"Hahaha, kill him slowly." - terrorist leader
(As he turns and starts walking away)

(Main char starts laughing. terrorist leader turns around, everyone staring as he laughs.)

"What on earth is so funny?" - terrorist leader

"You were stupid to think that i came here to talk about peace." - Main char

(He lifts up his shirt revealing tons of C-4, and a detonaitor in his other hand. He smiles at the terrorist leader.)

"Karma's a bitch aint it?" - main char
(As he pushes the button the bombs explode)
