Synopsis
Billy has nothing to live for. He sleeps through his boring job by day and gets drunk at the local bar by night. No hope, no interests, no life.
But all this changes when his sister, Brenda, calls and asks him to look after her kids. He starts to find meaning in life, especially in developing a close connection with his 12 year old niece Lacey. She understands him and makes him feel needed. She inspires him to stop drinking and to become the company man he never thought he could be. Everything is perfect.
But matters quickly change when Brenda goes missing . Billy is now the sole provider of the family. He has to make money to support his new life, which forces him into a secret deal with his corrupt boss, Andrew. Strange things start to happen. Lacey is drifting away. His family is in danger. Something horrible out there awaits her. When everything Billy holds dear comes into question, he makes a choice he will never forget.
The Protector must PROTECT(h)ER!
