Synopsis
Aubrey, a common thief, breaks into a house and steals what she thinks is a pretty necklace. The pretty necklace she has taken is indeed a powerful amulet design to give the wearer increased power. Imagine what could happen if it ended up in the wrong hands. While she is leaving the house, she ends up getting caught and is chased deep into a dark forest where she coincidentally runs into the vampire Zachariah Delaroix who has been waiting for the day the amulet leaves the protection of the house. He wants this amulet for his own personal gain, but can't obtain it from her unless she gives it with her own free will. He kidnaps her and takes her to his village, where they somehow befriend one another, in order to keep the amulet from crueler enemies. Is there more than just friendship on Aubrey's mind? Can a vampire even fall in love?
