Bio

My name is Adam Briel and I am a Chicago-land native looking to make my mark in the film industry. I graduated from Columbia in 2000 majoring in music business management and evidently picked the wrong major. With that past blunder, I believe we all learn from our mistakes and as time goes on, we all discover the inner workings of our desires and passions even at the most in-opportune times.

I write screenplays in the horror genre and base most of my writing on personal experiences. I am heavily influenced by music and believe the foundation of a good movie resonates in the music and feel of the film.

I am looking to push the boundaries of the horror genre in all aspects including sex, violence and what is deemed "socially acceptable". I want to be remembered as a groundbreaking writer whom has created drastically different and creative works.
