Albert Uria

Uria started to enjoy filmmaking at a very young age. He began developing his skills in photography crews, working with a variety of directors on feature length films.Eventually he developed six short films and directed 4 of them. One of these, "Smoke city", succeeded winning various prizes in international festivals and was nominated for a prestigious Goya award in Europe (Spain).Uria began to attract attention in the European market and spent the following years working for virtually every multi-national agency as an advertising director.As a result, and with the support of executive producer Oriol Uria, his brother, they founded their own company; Garage Films. A film production house based now a days in three different countries that represents 11 directors and currently develops both Film and TV projects.
He is also the founder of Fake Studio where they develop all kind of films related to animation, ilustration and various motion graphics projects.
Albert Uria lives in between Barcelona and New York and he is brimming over with a passion for his work that would perfectly exhaust any perfectionist.
