Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Anna began her entertainment career as an aspiring child actress, spending most of her early years in front of the camera rather than behind it. Inspired by the cutting edge concepts incorporated in music videos and independent films, Anna chose to pursue a future in filmmaking and photography at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
After graduating with a BFA in Film & TV from NYU, Anna was brought onto the Production Design team at NBC’s Saturday Night Live. In addition to SNL, Anna has also worked with such notable names as DNA Productions, J Records, SonyBMG, Acquastrada Productions, Fig Media, 23/6 Productions, cinematographer Stefan Czapsky, directors Ron Hamad and Liz Friedlander, musicians Avril Lavigne, UnderOath, 88-Keys, Northstar, and the Screaming Orphans.
In addition to filmmaking, Anna has extensive training in acting from NYU and improvisational comedy training from the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Training Center. She currently performs monthly improv shows at various venues in New York, LA and Chicago with the comedy troupe, Candy Slice.
