My feature film project "Grand Avenue" is a coming-of-age comedy set in 1989 in Queens, NY - the same part of Queens where "Goodfellas" was filmed and where John Gotti's wake was held. It's been described as an East Coast "Fast Times" as well as a comedic "Mean Streets". Please visit us online at www.grandavenuemovie.com.
Born and raised in Queens, NY. Now living in Pennsylvania, or as I like to call it, the witness protection program. The wife seems to like it though...
In the past year I've written one full-length comedy and several short scripts, one of which ("John Lennon's Heaven') is in post-production and another ("Fifteen Minutes") which is in production.
I graduated summa cum laude from St. Joseph's University with a B.S. in Liberal and Professional Studies and minors in philosophy and political science.
I like to write comedy, and I'm fascinated by what goes on in the human mind (for me, this is where the real "horror" takes place), so my shorts tend to gravitate towards incorporating physics, religion, philosophy, and the dark elements that one can only find in the darkest of all places - the psyche.
My likes and influences include Woody Allen, Monty Python, The Young Ones, Louis C.K., Chris Rock, Buddy Hackett, The Odd Couple, Taxi, classic rock (I'm a walking encyclopedia) and jazz (Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Stan Getz, Miles, Oscar, Bill Evans, Joe Pass, etc.).
