I have independently produced animated films, music videos, live action narratives, documentaries, and experimental films. Special effects have always had a place in my heart. I excel at wild visuals including graphics and stop motion manipulation. I can be involved in most any production department through my years experience as a stagehand and PA.
Being an independent producer can break your heart, but I couldn't be more proud of what I've accomplished so far and I'm still eager to make more, learn more, and get my heart broken more oddly enough. It's all a part of the process.
Favorite Music
Everything but New Country. Specifically: 60's soul, Power pop, old country, Heavy Metal in all it's guises.
Favorite Movies
Luis Bunuel, Marx Brothers, Naked Gun Trilogy, Busby Berkeley, wow I know I should add some recent film makers- just can't think of any right now. Oh yeah- Todd Solondz, Guy Maddin, LLoyd Kaufman, I'm not as arty as I look.
Favorite Books
I tend to like graphic novels, sci-fi, and non-fiction. Hernandez brothers, Philip K Dick (*The Maze of Death* is an incredible book) Vonnegut.
