Born in 1984 to a middle-class New Jersey couple, Carissa came into the world with an inherent knack for writing about herself in the third person. Developing reading skills at the age of three, Carissa began to pen simple one-act stories featuring personified protagonists and "really mean" authority figures. It wasn't until fifth grade that Carissa met a teacher that helped her to really develop intensive characters and detailed plotting maps. "Carissa was a phenomenal writer," is what her fifth-grade teacher would say if Carissa had interviewed her. "I always told her mother, 'This girl can work a pen." After scribing some 800-page novels, Carissa took a break and decided it was time to finish her degree in media and psychology. Upon graduation, she worked at one of the most noted news organizations - and left to do a freelance video project, never to return. "Do I regret it?" she asks. "The answer is no." Never faltering to boredom, Carissa learned valuable skills in marketing and sales, web development, and even brewing some awesome coffee while producing videos and writing advertisements. "Despite all my hobbies and passions, there was still something missing," Carissa says. On a whim, she decided to post her profile here after getting a random acting job - after her very first audition, no less - in hopes that someone will hire her. "Carissa's really easy to work with," says an unnamed source. "She develops valuable input and sticks to the job at hand - never faultering or getting distracted by tasks."
