Trailer to the full feature "Almost Invisible" (IMDb 2010), presently touring the 2010 film festival circuit.
David has written/directed one full feature film. Recently completed, that supernatural teen thriller, "Almost Invisible", obtained foreign distribution from Echelon Studios. Seth Kittay (All Channel Films) secured domestic 2009. IMDb posted it 2010. Produced as a demo for a mult-million dollar take on the concept which Allingham still hopes to develop, it's a paranormal/teen party movie that seems to be coming into it's own.

His romantic comedy, “Snap!” was optioned by Susan Johnston, Select Services Films, October 2009. He was featured in an InkTip Newsletter late last year as a result. Funding options from multiple sources already look promising.

Pat Moran ("Wedding Crashers") is collaborating on the development of Allingham's completed full feature heist, "The Dead Hand". Others are coming board to this story based on true events that rallies a following at the question: "how much do you hate banks?"

Tom Reid and Richard Minor of Silverbrook Entertainment are moving towards optioning another one of David's scripts, "Hooked", a Hitchcock style thriller. A musical version of his second script, "Hosing Faji," is currently under consideration for theatrical production by George Mason University. For a sample of a high-budget writing in progress, check out "Car", a horror-thriller script that was uploaded onto InkTip early 2010.

He has co-written four of his screenplays, solo authored all the rest. He is still non-WGA, open to writing on spec and, and interested in representation for his twelve completed scripts. He lives and practices medicine in the Washington DC area.
