Dilip Isaac
Originally from Houston, Texas, Dilip currently works in Los Angeles. He began his cinematic career in Grip and Electrics where he quickly learned the art of lighting. He has a keen acuteness to the functions of equipment, the mathematics between light output and final image. His initial focus on understand the designs of gear to its numerous implementations has lead to innovative lighting setups.
Dilip applies the same scrutinizing focus to detail, to his camera work; creating a fusion of beautiful lighting with graceful and slick camera compositions. His cinematography work began with a Pansy Division Documentary which has been officially selected by over 10 major festivals across 3 continents. It was also the winner of the Chicago Film Festival and is now distributed by Alternative Tentacles. His feature films work for cinematography include The Adventures of Belvis Bash and McTaggert's Fortune, which are both awaiting release.
Recently Dilip has been shooting music videos for Axiom 8 Films. His recent videos include Yung Berg's Outerspace and Put it on Me. He has also completed a new video for the metal band Sufokate. Continuing his relationship with the Pansy Division crew, he also shot a 4 part mini-series/ music video for the band, which has received considerable praise by LOGO network.
