Bio
Daniel MacMunn was born in Chiswick, England. At the age of six, he moved to The United States. He found his love for the arts at the age of nine when his mother enrolled him in the Pracilla Beach Theater Co. in Plymouth, Massachusetts. He would stay with the Pracilla Beach group for a number of years. Daniel realized acting as a career when he won first place in the competition, "Stars of Tomorrow." He played a gay king wanting to marry a princess not for love, but for her money. He continued acting throughout his school years. At the age of 17, Daniel joined the Army National Guard. There he learned and pursued a career in the mechanics trade. Unfortunately, his acting career was put on hold during that time, but his love for the theater couldn't be smothered forever. Five years later, Daniel realized that there was only one thing he was truly happy doing. As a result, he decided to move to Boston. He spent the next two years in Bean Town taking acting classes and doing regional theater in the city. During this time, He was introduced to the Meisner Technique at the Actor's Workshop. After learning a great deal of this Technique, he knew he wanted to study at the Neighborhood Playhouse in Manhattan, where Sanford Meisner originally taught. Daniel studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse under Richard Pinter. After finishing his two year studies, he was ready to tackle the business. For the next five years he did a lot of theatre in Manhattan including an Off- Broadway play called "Hind Sight," in which he starred in and wrote. He also starred in a number of independent movies and did some work on television. But, Daniel found his true passions were in the movies. So he moved to California with hopes not only to act in movies, but see screenplays he has written produced. Daniel has performed in quite a few projects, through his own representation. He is currently freelancing with different agents, hoping to sign with the right one soon.
