Film: Played a supporting role as Luis Guzmán’s love interest in the comedy "maldeamores" (Lovesickness) produced by Benicio del Toro and directed by Carlitos Ruiz. It premiered at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival and was Puerto Rico’s Official Selection for Best Foreign Film in the 80th Academy Awards. Also, it was presented at film festivals around the world winning various awards. It was released commercially in Puerto Rico and selected US cities. It is airing on HBO Latino and various Latino Film channels, and available on DVD. Also performed in "Main Street" by Horton Foote, directed by John Doyle starred by Colin Firth. Filmed in Durham, NC; had a speaking role in a scene with Orlando Bloom and Patricia Clarkson.
Television: Have been part of series, SNL “style” shows, sitcoms and made-for-TV movies (credits: Co-Star, Supporting, Series Regular, Featured); in commercials, and in print.
Voice-over: Was the voice of “Gaia” on an animated TV show for three years, and the “Narrator” for a computer software.
Theatre: Had performed in more than 40 plays. Since moved to NYC in May 2009, had been on stage with "OH DE SEA! produced by "The Internationalists", "El caballero del milagro" produced by Teatro Círculo, "Seven Plays, Seven Days" by Boundless Theatre Company, "Love Dot Com" by Dramatic Question Theatre Company. In the summer of 1999 was part of the “The Edward & Sally Van Lier Directing Fellowship Project” with "What we Know is Boring" by Jorge González at Spanish Repertory Theatre, NYC. In NC: American premiere of "Way to Heaven" by Juan Mayorga, English and Spanish alternated shows, and "Inherit the Wind" by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee (Burning Coal Theatre Company). In Puerto Rico: "The Sandbox" by Edward Albee, "The Bald Soprano" by Eugene Ionesco, "Midsummer’s Night Dream" by William Shakespeare, "The House of Bernarda Alba" by Federico García Lorca, "Good Night, Sweetie" by Joselo Arroyo, "Exile" by Pedro Rodiz, among others. In Colombia: "Maravilla Estar" by Santiago García at Teatro La Candelaria in Bogotá.
Besides acting, Technical credits as Theater Production with own company "Deikélestai" (1999-2006) in Puerto Rico; Production and Direction Assistant, Production Manager, Stage Manager, Props and Costume Coordinator.
A Master’s Degree in Arts Administration from Turabo University, PR and a Bachelor’s in Theatre from the University of Puerto Rico.
