Mike Doyle

Started off and an intern for Cinergi & Roland Joffe'. Became an executive assistant at a small company that had a deal at Warners. After a year of reading other people material I decided to quit and start writing. Within two years my at the time writing partner and myself had written two specs and got signed with an agent, Hohman, Maybank & Leib. After an other couple of years of more meetings and two more specs my writing partner quit. I now go it on my own. My last two projects, The Two (an action comedy screenplay) and The Strain (A short horror film) have won awards and screen throughout the country.

It's hard to say. I love different movies for different reasons. The main movies are typical... Star Wars, Empire, Raiders, Back to the Future, Godfather 1 & 2, 28 Weeks Later, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The Descent, The Shinning, Alien and a ton of other stuff I can't think of...

Favorite TV Shows
Lost, The Wire, Battlestar, 24 (sometimes), Dexter!!!!, The Tutors, The Shield, Deadwood, Carnival... (Damn The Man for taking the last two off!!!!)

Favorite Books
Fahrenheit 451, Portrait of a Killer, Catcher in the Rye... I need to read more books!! I read mostly screenplays.

U2, Flogging Molly, The Tossers, White Stripes, Green Day, The Dropkick Murphies...

Favorite Talent
I'm assuming this mean directors, writer and actors... It really depends. Certain talent excels in certain projects but I guess my favorites are the favorites of most... Spielberg, Niel Marshall, DelToro, Alfonso Curion, Paul Greengrass, way too many more to mention...
