A graduate of NY's School of Visual Arts, Elias started out as an actor when he was 15 and quickly expanded into filmmaking shortly thereafter, completing his first short in 1996.
His 2001 film, "The Voice Inside" earned a notorious reputation on the festival circuit, garnering many awards and comparisons to Shinya Tsukamoto's "Tetsuo" and Darren Arronofsky's "Pi". Most recently he wrote, produced and directed the feature psychological thriller "Gut", now in postproduction.
