A graduate of New York University''s Tisch School of the Arts, Elizabeth Kerin is an award-winning screenwriter, director, and producer whose work achieved early notoriety. A storyteller first and foremost, Elizabeth builds her projects upon a strong foundation of character, conflict, and heart. At the age of sixteen, Elizabeth''s playwriting was featured across New England in numerous theater festivals as she served as Artistic Director of the Eclipse Theater Company in Northern Westchester, NY. Upon acceptance to NYU, Elizabeth''s medium began to shift from stage to film. Most recently, Elizabeth acted as head writer/producer and co-director of the supernatural web series "Obelisk Road", which has been adapted into a feature film property. Her production company, Passage Pictures, has produced seven short narratives and documentaries since 2007. Notable credits include: "American Epilogue" (Writer/Director, Cannes Short Film Corner 2008), "The Woman''s Room (Theater)" (Writer/Director, 440 Studios at Playwrights Horizons, 2006), and "The Boy with the Bike" (Writer/Director). Elizabeth was awarded best undergraduate screenplay at the 2008 Fusion Film Festival and was a regional finalist at the Kennedy Center American Theater Awards for her political theater piece, "The Woman''s Room".
