• Bio

  Alejandro Seri is a bilingual director with a firm grasp of story telling. Alejandro started writing screenplays at the age of nineteen while attending UCLA as an anthropology major. He left the university when he heard the calling of Hollywood.

  Alejandro began his education in the movie business as a script reader at a small production company. After passing one of his scripts to the Executive Producer of Twin Eagle Entertainment, Alejandro was promoted to Development Executive. He worked two years with the company using his instincts for story structure and plot development to enhance their slate of projects.

  After this period of on-the-job training, Alejandro enrolled at Columbia College Film School as a directing major. But he soon felt the need to move beyond the curriculum offered by the college.

  Alejandro then approached former studio exec David Garcia with the idea of starting an alternative school. With the help of ten other students, they formed Cyberpix Film School in downtown Los Angeles. They rented out a loft and converted it into a sound stage. The students hired industry professionals to teach courses. Alejandro wrote and directed a student film and an extreme sports commercial while he was at the school.

  Since then, he has shot his first feature starring Francesco Quinn (24, The Young and the Restless, Platoon). The film won four awards while playing at the NY Independent Film Festival, the Romanian-American Film Festival and the Lake Tahoe International Film Festival.

  Alejandro and Mr. Quinn's collaboration on Placebo Effect led to his award-winning screenplay, Sun and Shadow. Alejandro went on to work as a film trailer copywriter at New Films International. Deciding to reconnect with the storytelling aspect of the craft, Alejandro then worked as a story analyst with Script P.I.M.P. (Pipeline Into Motion Pictures) development services.

  In the midst of his creative work, Alejandro managed to carve out enough time to race BMX and mountain bikes. His determination landed him a national championship title, two World Championship competitions, and his very own bike design with sponsor, Soul Cycles. This experience in the highly branded extreme sports world would later serve him in his directorial efforts.

  Since starting Viral Vector Media with partner, Chad Harrison, Alejandro has been busy with the day to day operations as well as screenwriting. They also continue their production efforts in the English and Spanish speaking markets.
