Wayne Slaten

Wayne Slaten studied art and communications at Marshall University and Methodist College. He formed the production company, Fire Pig Productions, and went on to write, produce and direct several short films including ZOMBINATION, which screened at film festivals and was developed into a web series. After working on several award winning short films with Fire Pig Productions, Wayne developed Moonlite Filmwerks in 2008 to move into directing, screenwriting and producing features.

Through Moonlite Filmwerks he successfully showcased his directing talents and fully funded his debut feature length film BACKROAD, a supernatural thriller. BACKROAD is currently being submitted to film festivals in 2010. Wayne is now in development on his next feature length film PATRIOT ACT, a science fiction drama scheduled to begin production in the spring of 2010.

Wayne is the Director of Photography on the remake of the 1973 horror classic DON'T LOOK IN THE BASEMENT set to begin production in the summer of 2010.
