Gerrold has several years experience in the film and television industry, both in front of and behind the camera.
As a SFX Makeup Artist he has toured the country with A List rock bands, been Key Artist on award winning films, headed up teams for top designers during NYC Fashion Week, and his work has been featured on shows such as America's Next Top Model.
As a Production Designer, he has done a range from Haunted Houses, Film Noir, Post Apocalyptic, Futuristic, Circus, Steampunk, as well as Present Day. He can design a lived in looking set for most demographic groups, but is best at dark and twisted ones.
He can walk in stilts, breath fire, escape from a straight jacket, contort his body, preform side show acts, and is comfortable spending the day in full prosthetic makeup. He is able to be the dead pan, straight man in comedy .
The possibility of portraying a monster, alien, villain, or in any way non human character is what inspired him to start in this industry. His ideal role would be an emotionally detached Tim Burton character .
