Giacomo Arrigoni is an Italian award winner director and script writer.
He has made videos for companies like PUMA, FIAT, ALFA ROMEO, LANCIA, EUROPASSISTANCE, TECNO, TENARIS, CARLSON WAGONLIT, LIQUIGAS, ATARI, POTTERY BARN, POLIFORM, RIMADESIO, JESSE, CIOCCOLATITALIANI and TENACTA.
He works as freelance filmmaker for the web televisions Milanodabere.it, GameTribes.tv, the Berlin-based Tiva.tv and the Italian production company Officina della Comunicazione, for which he has also worked as production assistant for the film Antonio Ligabue – Realtà e Fiction directed by Salvatore Nocita and co-produced with RAI Trade. The film has been presented at the International Rome Film Festival 2009.
His promotional short film Brescia’s Numbers won a Special Mention at the FilmLabFestival 2009 (ITA).
His commercial Lo sanno anche i bambini, made for the FIAT-UCIF-BimbiSicuramente contest won the 1st Big Zooppa Award.

His short film Syntony, presented at the Cannes Short Film Corner 2007, received a Bronze Remi Award for Creative Excellence at the 40th Annual Houston WorldFest International Film & Video Festival 2007 (USA), the Runner Up Placement Award – Best Dance Film at the Los Angeles International Fest of Cinema and Technology Tour 2008 (USA), the Best Directing – Critics Award at the Albisola Corto Festival 2007 (Italy), a 2nd Jury Award at the Earth Spirit & Love Film Festival 2008 (USA) and has been officially selected by the Romance in a Can Film Competition 2008 (Miami, USA), by the Short Film Festival of India 2008 (India), and by the Babelgum Online Film Festival 2008.
Besides creating audiovisual products, Arrigoni writes scripts for short and feature films, commercials, documentaries and cross-platform fiction series.
He has received a Special Mention for his advertising campaign script about social awareness toward disabled persons at the Ledha Spot Festival 2007 (Italy).
His feature film script MUREX has been optioned by Los Angeles-based ThunderBall Films LLC and is now under development.
