Actor. Born Sunday, 7:42am, February 9th, in our nation's capitol, Washington DC. The son of an air traffic controller, he attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, (NY) He struggled for years attempting to work as an actor in theater, supporting himself with various jobs. He once had no actual place of residence and slept on the red line subway, which ran from Harlem to Brooklyn.

Eventually, he landed a few local TV commercials in New York and Baltimore, MD, which lead him to lead roles on stage including, "Killingsworth", A Soldier's Play, "That Serious He-Man Ball" and "A Few Good Men" with the Arena Playhouse. Discovered by John Water's protege, the much loved and enormous star Jean Hill of "Desperate Living" & "Polyester". His stage debut, in "Divine Comedy" directed by Jean Hill, brought him to the attention of local casting director Pat Moran who hand picked him to work with director David Mamet in his first feature role in "Homicide" (1991) which led to supporting roles in "He Said, She Said" (1991) directed by Ken Kwapis, and then "Bleeding Heart" (1994) directed by the late, great Gregory Hines.

Go west young man. Moving to Hollywood, Grigori's network television experience includes, guest starring roles in "Coach" (Universal TV), "Gabriel's Fire" (Lorimar TV) and "Reasonable Doubt" (Lorimar TV) After getting a taste of national commercials and network television, he continued with theater which he considers "the only actor's real place of creative true organic control & expression" the stage. He worked next, with a veteran film and television actor, turned director Dylan Mc Dermott in Miguel Pinero's, frightening view of prison life, theater presentation "Short Eyes". This led to a role in the critically acclaimed, David Fincher's thriller, "Se7en"
