You're only as young as your ideas.
I play to win but want everyone to do well. Creative collaboration and problem-solving fulfills my soul. People who take creative criticism as a blow to their self-worth make me sad.
Been on my own since I was 18. Juggling three part-time jobs, I put myself through the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, (same school as Terry Gilliam). Graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and Filmmaking.
To earn tuition for USC I went to work as a feature film Graphic Designer and was lucky enough to be chosen as the Lead Graphic Designer for the Coen Brother's, FARGO. I continued in features with THE BIG LEBOWSKI, MIGHTY DUCKS, SUGAR & SPICE, DROP DEAD GORGEOUS, Tim Burton's, unfinished, SUPERMAN LIVES, and several other terrific projects.
Transitioned into screenwriting and became a 2006 & 2008 Austin Film Festival Second-Rounder, plus I'm a two-time top-ten winner in the Horror screenwriting competition, Screamfest LA.
Interests and Activities I love riding my bike and thinking about things like: Why is snack-food packaging so Gosh-darn noisy?
Favorite Movies: Every movie is a miracle. I love 'em all.
Favorite Music: All musicians are geniuses.
Favorite Books: Bendinger, Steinbeck, Rand, Kundera, Flemming, Chandler, Spillain, Hammet, Fergusson.
Favorite Talent: The one talent I wish I had: Speaking well, in the moment.
