Bio
Aryiel Hartman graduated from Chapman University last year with a double major in Theatre and Graphic Design and a minor in dance. Upon moving up to L.A she has had the pleasure of starrng in many fabulous theatre productions and even had the pleasure of directing a few herself. Although she loves the theatre she wants to pursue a career in film and tv to which her wacky personality is best suited She has a very outgoing, fun, energetic vibe to her which sines though in all her roles. Despite loving the funny girl roles, she also excels at character dramas and loves a good meaty role to sink her acting chops into. Never to be stuck in the same genre, she just finished performing in a show titled "Soldier's Don't Cry" about a squad of female soldiers sent into Vietnam who become POWs. She is also pround to currently be in the fast-growing cult theatre production All About Walken, a sketch show dedicated to impersonating the infamous actor. Recreating and speculating into the actor's life and movies it is a 90 minute show which has made quite an impact aorund town, beng recently reviewed in the Weekly and the Times. And very soon she will show off her burlesque dancing background in the new Vaudevillian Burlesque show "Rag Dolls" produced by dollhouse productions. If you like pretty girls and cheap "stiff" jokes, come check it out! :)

Favorite Movies
Top 9! (I haven't found a good solid tenth one yet): Moulin Rouge (for the sappy romantic high school girl in me), I Heart Huckabees, Almost Famous, The Fountain, Velvet Goldmine, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fight Club, Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus, and All That Jazz. I guess if I had to add a tenth it would have to be Wet Hot American Summer without question. A lot of my favs are all highly based in and around music since I think in terms of musicality all the time. Turns out I really do have a tenth (or eleventh now I guess) It would be the Before SUnrise/Before Sunset series. Beautiful.

Favorite Music
First and foremost, I rule out Country and that music where people just scream all the time. I get it, you're angry, but you're blowing out my speakers. My favorites though are Jeff Buckley, Goldfrapp, Air, Zero 7, Pink Floyd, Yes, Tangerine Dream, David Bowie, and Rufus Wainwright. I am also a giant fan of soundtracks and making my own mix CDs.

Favorite Talent
I think Nicole Kidman is incredible. So flawless and seamless in her craft. I also adore Kate Winslet, Ethan Hawke, Jim Carrey, and Ewan McGregor.
