ake Galasso grew up in a big Italian family in Southern California where athletics and theater was the emphasis!
Later becoming a filmmaker, Blue Light Café, won a screenplay competition and the support of Chapman’s Location Filmmaking grant and went on to win Best Director of a Short Film at the 2002 Hollywood Underground Film Festival, presented by Arthur Hiller (Love Story). The film also was an official selection of the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
Jake worked for JAG Marketing & Productions, Particle Productions, and currently freelances in Video production.
Also as a working SAG/AFTRA Actor on such television shows as 'Attack of the Show', 'Punk'd' and 'My Name is Earl', Jake directed and DP'd the short film AWAKEN THE GIANT, about an actors group, a documentary ‘Molokai Today’, and fashion videos with the acclaimed Advertising department of Guess Inc.? and recently the company TMG International. Jake is married and lives in Los Angeles.
