Javier has been directly involved in theater, music and photography from an early age, all which made him develop as a creative media producer. Starting his career as radio producer, and then crossing over to TV as a Creative Promo Producer, he always had to write his own content and scripts. His writing got him a position as Creative Copywriter for advertisement, where the Venezuelan National Association of Advertisers awarded him for a PSA.
In 2002, he moved to New York to place all is effort in developing his passions: Storytelling and filmmaking. Since, Javier produced and directed half a dozen short films, one documentary. In 2008, Perez-Karam and Zelig, joined efforts with Roberto Alcazar, to create a triad named “EO7”. Together they produced their feature film “subHysteria”, directed by Leonard Zelig, to hit the theaters in 2010.
Today, Javier has several projects in development, ranging from Victorian sci-fi feature films, all the way to improv-comedic mobile video content. He is also a close collaborator with EO Integration, in the development of innovative branded content.
