Jonathan was born just outside of Chicago in Evanston, Illinois. Early on in his life he was exposed to the Arts. During his first thirteen years he bounced between Chicago, Memphis and Connecticut and was always enrolled in a dance, painting or other form of ‘creative art’ class. Finally landing in Chicago, Jonathan attended New Trier High School and then earned his B.S. in Kinesiology at the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana. Upon graduating Jonathan moved back to Chicago where he began pursuing acting full time. One accomplishment he is proud of is performing at Second City-Chicago and completing their Training Program & Conservatory.
Not long after, Jonathan made the move out to Hollywood. In his time in Los Angeles, Jonathan has stayed busy. He maintains a full schedule whether it be taking a class, shooting a project, writing or performing. Jonathan has found a wonderful home at the Hothouse Theater, where he can often be found performing in a completely improvised show. His most recent successes include a recurring role on ‘The Young & the Restless’ and ‘Entourage’.
Jonathan recently completed shooting three film projects ‘Just Married’ a comdey starring Christine Lakin & Rick Overton, ‘Toast’ starring Jorge Luis Pallo & Drive Thru featuring Bo Barrett. Some of his previous credits include a Guest Star on ‘Katrina’ a pilot for the N Network & ‘For Better or For Worse’ on The Learning Channel. Jonathan has also finished writing two features and a web series.
Jonathan has also jumped into the world of producing and over the past year has produced ‘The Sundowners’ with David Krumholtz (Numb3rs) & Superbad), the award winning film, ‘Threshold’ and countless short films.
