• Bio

  I'm Jonathan Pal. I eat, sleep, and breathe Filmmaking. Ever since I was 7 years old I knew I wanted to be in this business, it always seemed interesting to me that something can be made and viewed by millions and that no matter how crazy the story, it could be shot. When I was 7 I saw my first Spielberg Film, "Jurassic Park", that's when I knew that this is what I want to do. I've recently began actually studying film and how they're made at Industry Film School, where I attend an afterschool program a couple days a week, I also attend acting classes with the amazing Ralph Colombino. I've only been going to both since Summer 2007, and always try to be there whenever I can. I've begun Producing some shorts recently and am very happy with what I've done. I've also acted in many shorts and with many great people. I hope that someday I can build a career as great as Spielbergs, DJ Caruso's, or my favorite actor Shia LaBeouf. I have a dream and I'm going to make it come true!!!

• Interests and Activities

  I enjoy Screenwriting a lot, getting the creative juices flowing. I also enjoy relaxing with a game of Golf every now and then as well as pumpin' the adrenaline on my dirt-bike. I've also started to love to act, it's very fun being someone you're not even if just for a second, and replicating how you think the feeling's your character feels on paper really brings a new meaning to Filmmaking for me. Whenever someone at my Film School is doing a shoot I usually help on crew since I know the equipment somewhat well, I enjoy helping out with others' films wherever I can.

• Favorite TV Shows

  By far I absolutely love the show LOST. I think that the writers are great at getting you at the edge of your seat and the actors bring the characters to life like no other show I've seen. Also I really enjoy Heroes on NBC, it too has a great story which is brought to life by the actors. Other shows I enjoy include: Dexter, House, Degrassi, Entourage, Saturday Night Live, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Flight of the Conchords, & many many more. I try my best not to watch a lot of TV though haha.
