• Bio

  My husband---Mo Anam Cara('My Soul Mate') I was born and raised in Southern, IL, and I am the oldest of 4 children. I was like most kids from Southern, IL., I went to Elementary, Junior High, and High School. I also have my AA degree in Business major Paralegal studies. I did this for ten years with my husband's law office and retired. Then I decided one day that I would love to do what I have always wanted to do "act". So I went to Phoenix and signed with an agency there. Unfortuantely, they only got me one employment with a production who were from a British production "Discovery Channel". These were great people to work with and I liked the director and producer a lot. Then I decided to go out on my own. They were having auditions in Tucson for the film "Last Man". Well I did not get a role, but I got the opportunity to work with the producer and director, and also do alot of things on the project. I have done a total of eight films since then, and will be in the new SAM MENDES production filming in June in Tucson. So I am very excited about this. I have also signed myself up for fall classes for acting to help me out more. Well for someone who's acting talents are lets us say slim I think I have done quite well. I hope to better before I grow old. I will update my resume. Hopefully the next audition I do will be a little better than the last.

• Interests and Activities

  I love getting involved in Scot/Irish festivals, and other things involving theater and film. I love entertaining and throwing parties. I hope to be able to entertain the McBain's, McPherson's and Smith Clan from Tenn. in the near future. I enjoy horseback riding, playing tennis with my husband, or whom I can get as a tennis partner, and whenever I get a chance with weather permitting. I have been writing a book for the past three years. I am only able to write on it when I have time, or when I get an idea. Believe me, J.K. Rowling I am not, I wish! My husband stands by me in whatever I do. I enjoy sewing for my granddaughter's, and if they are in a school play I make their costumes,. I show them how to make their first aprons. I even taught them how to bake their first cookies, and we do a lot of fun things together, my grandsons are small, but I have lots of fun with them. My 4 yr old has remote control car that we play with together and we have lots of fun together. I love horseback riding, hiking, walking, tennis and just to get out doors. I love to do just about anything within reason, if it doesn't kill me first.

• Favorite Movies

  My all time favorite old classic movie film is "The Quiet Man" starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. Then there are the " The Thin Man Films-All 6 Films" and "Charlie Chan" movies. I am and old movie buff. I love "National Treasure", "Ghost Rider", "Harry Potter" "Stardust", Pirates of the Carib, and then it depends on the topic.

• Favorite TV Shows

  New Amsterdam, Moonlight, Ghost Whisper, The Tudors, Military Channel, Physic, History Channel, BBCA, Science Channel. Mystery films-PBS, Wire In The Blood, Waking The Dead, Mystery films-PBS, Digging For the Truth, and it depends on the topic.

• Favorite Books

  Autobiography of Johann S. Bach, Queen Elizabeth II, Queen Elizabeth I, Harry Potter-Triolgy,The Red Baron, and Baron Manfred von Richthofen. The Arts, Vincent Van Gogh. It depends on the topic.

• Favorite Music

  Celtic, The Muses, The High Kings, Celtic Thunder, Barry Manlow, Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Big Band, Andrew Sisters, Bach, Classicial Music, Christian, some 70' and 80's, Frank Sinantra, Bing Crosby.

• Favorite Talent

  Maureen O'Hara, John Wayne, Ben Johnson, Katheryn Hepburn, Spencer Tracey, Robert Mitchum, James Stewart, Elizabeth Taylor, Claudett Corber, Don Amchee, Ginger Rogers, Fred Aster, and there are really to many to mention, but these are the best I can name. They don't make them like that anymore
