Bio
Leslie has always enjoyed and has had a natural talent for modeling, acting and art. She began her career in the entertainment industry at 5 years of age. She soon got into everything available in her town where she could entertain an audience. She was in many plays, piano recitals, was a majorette, ballerina and cheerleader...anything to be in front of a crowd. She began modeling for local department stores and entering pageants were she often won 1st prize. Leslie won representative of her class every year in elementary school as the fall festival princess, duchess and queen. She then went on to be chosen for the class representative home-coming queen every year in high school. Leslie was the captain of her dance team senior year and choreographed most of the team's routines. She always had an interest in art, and spent a lot of her time painting and sketching.
By her senior year in high school she had achieved numorus 1st place awards in local pagents and had worked with such companies as Maurices, JC Penny and K-Mart as a model. After high school she began to see that there wasn't any opportunity to be sucessful in the entertainment industry in the small town where she lived beyond what she'd already achieved. She decided to make a career for herself in sales, although her dream of acting and modeling was never far from her mind.
She is currently an insurance agent for Allstate, co-owns a cable construction company, and has her own Mary Kay business. She could no longer ignore her passion for acting and modeling when Applause International (Ohio talent agency) came to town to scout for new talent. With the encouragement of close friends she decided to make time for her true passion once again, and went to the audition. She was immediately chosen to represent their company in the Mille Lewis Acting and Modeling Competition (AMTC) in Orlando. She spent the next 6 months training with the Applause team to compete in the commercial, photography, creative runway, and sit-com categories. She was given high marks from the judges and chosen as a finalist in one of her categories. She received onstage recognition and an award that she will cherish always. It gave her the confidence she needed to jump back into the entertainment industry. Now the drive to succeed in this business is stronger than ever and she has been hard at work since summer 06 to turn her life-long dream into a reality! Leslie's first big break was with ZP International's 2007 release, Monstrosity in which she played the leading female role, Jessie. Her performance was so well-received that it led to a number of other acting opportunities. She currently ranks as one of the most in-demand actresses in the prospering Central Kentucky independent film community. In addition to her work in feature films, Leslie can be seen in a number of national promotional videos, televison commericials, and music videos. She is the spokesmodel for a local hair design company. She has appeared in the television programs, GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS(A&E) and two episodes of THE STRANGER(TBN). Leslie can also be seen in the DONE IN SIXTY SECONDS national marketing campaign.
