Mathew Fisher
Mathew Fisher was Born in Massachusetts on March 9th 1983, 20 minutes South of Boston on the South Shore living in a couple of the surrounding towns threw out his youth, He always Enjoyed watching Movies and making his own shorts on his family's Camcorder. In Early 2002 He Started BoomBastic Films a Media/ Film Production Company and released Intelligence Gone Wild Vol.One which was a Compilation of Skits, Pranks, Mock Music Video's and all out Madness. This soon became a underground hit around the south shore spawning a Volume Two. In 2004 he Wrote, Directed, Produced and Cut his first short film " Death of a Deli Man" which would later morph into his first Full feature film " STUPA-MAN" Which had appearances by Lloyd Kaufman, Insane Shane McKane, Buddha from Blood for Blood and Born Loser's. Before STUPA-MAN he Shot " Weight-Room Macabre" a Thriller where a masked man stalks a guy at a gym one late rainy night. After STUPA-MAN He directed the First Act of a webisode Mini series called "Lasting Impressions" a story about a Guy who's plans of double crossing the mob goes wrong. Fallowing that He Co- Wrote, Produced, Edited and Directed the Pilot "THE SITE" Featuring Insane Shane McKane, Ron "Necro" Braunstein and Ryan Gillis.
During this time He's also Directed Three Music Video's for Carl Berens, Dee Roc and Amadeus the Stampede. He just signed on to Direct 3 music video's for Sullee of Vh1's the white rapper show. Finding musicians in his films is a regular thing. In 2008 he linked up with Boston Hip Hop promoter Leedz Edutainment where he shot and cut up proformence for Hip Hop Heavy weights like GZA of the Wu-Tang Clan, Cormega, KRS-ONE and M.O.P to Some Underground Giants like Slaine, Necro, Heddshotts and R.a the Rugged Man. When he's not working on his own Projects he can be found working on others in front of and behind the camera on films like CONNED and BEG and Documentary's like Axis of Good: A Story from 9/11 and God Take, God Give. He's also Worked as a Production Assistant on TLC's The Imploder's. He's Currently In Production on a short film he Wrote,Directing,Producing and will Edit called "Insomniac". His Second Feature is Planned for this Winter. He's finishing up the script now, casting has already started. He has plans of Producing more films in the future (later this year "Mutilation" A short Written and Directed by Buddy Budafewko & " Broken Hearts r For Assholes's a full feature Written and Directed by Alex Stockwell) BoomBastic Films just released it's First outside film GLITCHED.
