Originally from Bogotá, Colombia and currently a South Carolina resident, Miguel has earned worldwide recognition as a filmmaker and producer through his work on various collaborative projects, including his short feature narrative fiction drama 'Before Your Eyes' and Travel Channel's Halloween special, ‘America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions 2’.

Recently Miguel has earned prestigious recognition by the Silver TELLY Council at the 30th Annual TELLY AWARDS for his work for clients like the Travel Channel and his Alma Mater, the University of South Carolina, where he earned a Silver and Bronze TELLY for his producing, directing, editing, and shooting talent on Travel Channel’s ‘America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions 2: Spookywoods’ and his own movie trailer for the documentary feature film ‘Rx’.

In addition, his work on Frosty Palm Studios’ first short feature film, 'Before Your Eyes', has earned him a Golden Palm Award for Outstanding Achievement at the Mexico International Film Festival, the Silver Sierra Award for Short Film at he Yosemite International Film Festival, and has been officially selected at the Nevis International, Swansea Bay International, South Africa International, and Native American Film Festivals. Through his work on 'Before Your Eyes' he was able to unite a University across various departments, engage the South Carolina community, and a constellation of industry professionals towards pursuing a common passion for film making and education. Furthermore he was recently published in South Carolina’s Upstate Lake Living magazine for his devotion to produce compelling, creative, and unique stories.

Moreover, Berg’s recent involvement and development as a co-director, associate producer, cinematographer, and executive editor on the USC production of ‘Rx’ has ascertained recognition within the state and beyond through its selection at the 2008 ReelHeART International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada. Through his undergraduate career at the University of South Carolina he was recognized as the recipient of the A. Porter McLaurin Undergraduate Media Arts Awards, the highest honor of his department.

Currently an alumnus with a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts, Miguel Felipe Berg inspires dreams and achieves excellence through his filmmaking career and artistic vision, and hopes one day to produce a foreign film for his home country of Colombia to be eligible for the Academy Awards. With passion as the fuel for his dreams, Miguel hopes to unite emerging talent, filmmakers, and artists in a quest to create stories and a production facility for the new millenium.
