Bio

I was born in the Midwest, and my dad introduced me to horror and sci-fi at the local drive-ins. I've worked at everything from human services with the developmentally disabled, to horse wrangler on a dude ranch, to technical writer for a large corporation (current). I've been writing fiction since the late 80's. My short story "Sun Tea" was published by Kubicek and Associates in the horror anthology "October Dreams: A Harvest of Horror". My last short story is a sci-fi/horror piece called "Sun Flower's Weep" and won fourth place in the 76th Anual Writers Digest Writing Competition in 2008. I've been married for 16 years, have two daughters, a dog, and three cats which my family talked me into. I love all types of film and fiction books, am a fitness nut, and want to move closer towards a full-time life of writing fiction and away from technical writing (which pays the bills).
