Robert Dobbins
My name's Bob Dobbins, and the most that I can't say about myself is that I've been an all around artist since I popped out the womb. I love to read/write, illustrate, paint, design make-up effects and tackle just about anything that allows me to express my inner darkness to the world. That's right, my passion lives and dwells deep within the world of the macabre. It all started when my Dad allowed me to watch my first Horror movie back when I was a wee-little child... and I've been hooked ever since.
Above all, I really love the earlier stuff from such directors as Clive Barker, Wes Craven, Sam Raimi, John Carpenter, Stuart Gordon and George A. Romero, just to name a few.
I signed up with this site in hopes of being able to share my passions with others, and also take what I can from them as well. Whether it be make-up FX, acting, writing or directing, my dream is to be able to work with talented people and to build a stable foundation for myself within an industry that I admire more than anything... the film industry.
I'm glad to be here, and hope that I can make the best of it... oh yeah, and make as many enemies as possible. I seem to be off to a good start too. I'm pretty proud of myself. =)
