Born in Southern California in 1963, Shawn Flanagan grew up in San Jose, California where he lives today. At the age of 18 while cleaning a donut shop, Shawn heard a radio advertisement for a motion picture company looking for extras in the 1983 movie, "The Right Stuff". Shawn volunteered amongst two thousand other extras and was bitten by the movie making bug. He would go on to do background work on "Mad City", "The Lost Boys", "Patty Hearst" and "Angels in the Outfield", just to name a few. Shawn's real turning point in life came while watching the movie "Rocky 3". He soon enrolled himself in acting, writing and film classes at De Anza and West Valley colleges as well as Dennis Sakamoto's, "Stage One". Shawn has produced, written, shot and directed over 30 feature films and shorts to date.
