Bio
I was raised in the small town of Groveton, where I soon learned that I wouldn't be the next football star, or cheerleader. I started drawing comics in the first grade and never stopped. I'm not a good artist because of damage to my hand, but I get my point across most times. In the 6th grade I started animating, and I took my first film to contest at the Westfest Film Festival (The Rok Show, 2004) and won Best Animation there. I kept on animating, and went to Newgrounds for a year or two before stepping out of animation and into writing, where I wrote with my friend stories we posted online. Finally, my senior year I got into directing, starting with The Squire's Tale which was a class project, and it was written by my good friend and fellow collaborator, Glen Tucker. After that Glen and I took a stab at a few of my films and stopping production, and finally finishing Insomnia is a Gun. After that I started college at the College of Santa Fe, where I made many films with my friend Corey Johnson, and in 08, I started just working on weird escapes like Pseudo Suicide, which was entered into both the CSF Showcase and the CSF Juried Show and was politely rejected from both before judging. Since then I took a small break and started animating traditionally again. I just finished Dream 404 which might be going to contest soon, and I'm still working on Johnny Yeti Saves Christmas, which is due out at Christmas, although the script has been copyrighted for about a year.
My two favorite directors are Michel Gondry and Spike Jonze, because they're both whimsical and revolutionary with how they approach a project. Would I like to be like them? No, I don't like to try and be a carbon copy of someone, although I do like a little whimsy here and there. I'd like to do music videos, because I hate 9/10 of the ones I see, because I just think they're all pretentious "look at me, love my face, blah, blah" videos that really don't entertain, they just introduce you to the artist, and if you wanted an introduction, you could go to their website. I view Music Videos as a media to show a story just like a film, in a shorter amount of time, shorter than a TV show even.
Well that's me, now who are you?

Interests and Activities
As far as interests I'm pretty boring. I play video games, watch tons of movies, animate, draw comics, write movies, blah, blah, blah.
-
Favorite Movies
My favorite movie of all time, and the one that got me interested in animation is one called "Twice Upon a Time", although many people look confused at me when I say that. Besides that I love Dancer in the Dark and anything by John Waters.
-
Favorite TV Shows
I don't really watch TV, although I do love Monk.
-
Favorite Music
My favorite artist of all time is Nirvana, although I have an aquired taste in music as I'm told, because my iPod will go from System of a Down to Cab Calloway and everything in between. My favorite album is "A City Dressed in Dynamite" by That Handsome Devil, followed very close by Neutral Milk Hotel's "In An Aeroplane Over the Sea" and The Dresden Dolls "Yes, Virginia".

Favorite Talent
Is this supposed to be my favorite talent or just a talent in general? My favorite talent in general is the talent to whistle a song, something I can't do.
