Bio

What do you put here that doesn't sound too self-promotional. Basically, I have always felt passionate about visual images. I am somehow drawn to it no matter what. My gradfather had a photography studio, and I pursued photography in highschool and received many scholarships to good schools to pursue it. I had always loved portrait illustration/ life drawing ( I am much better at that than storyboard type drawing). I chose to go to a in-state college, and into graphic design but after a year or two there, felt that graphic design was really a question of whether you knew the program ( providing you had an eye for composition, weight, shade, depth etc...). So I tried to shift to photojournalism, which was more about journalism than images ( as it should be).

All the while was really interested in sports medecine. I took an anatomy class ( in part to make me a better illustrator) which I loved because I could draw the muscles in etc... and then chose to pursue physical therapy.

But, art to me is like breathing--got to do it. So I have continued in that direction and now am shifting some of my focus back to art having been a physical therapist for 10 years now. At this time, I am heavily into film and it just feels like the right place for me. My background is diverse including web site development, graphic design, still photography, video editing, audio production, and medical illustration. I
