Zoe White
Zoë White is passionate about the image and loves immersing herself into the world of each film she works on. She treasures her background as a classical musician, finding much of her motivation for cinematography in its abstract correlations with music.
Zoe has found homes in both Australia and the USA, and continues to seek global collaborations and broaden her horizons. She completed a BFA in Cinematography at the University of North Carolina School of Filmmaking and an MA in Cinematography at the Australian FIlm, Television and Radio School in Sydney, Australia. She has worked alongside her mentors Vilmos Zsigmond ASC, Newton Thomas Sigel ASC, Laszlo Kovacs ASC and James Chressanthis ASC.
Zoë represented the United States at the Budapest Cinematography Masterclass, and also participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus, Camerimage Cinematography Festival and Cannes American Pavilion Program. She was awarded the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Cinematography Internship, and recently picked up both a Gold and Silver Award at the Australian Cinematography Society Awards. With one feature and an assortment of shorts, music videos and commercials under her belt, she continues to strive for innovative and effective storytelling and enjoys every moment.
