Branches Break...
Nasty weather creates nasty creatures...
When the snow falls harder, the risks become deeper. Terror is unleashed on Alex and his close friends during their annual backcountry snowboarding trip. If they only knew what was stalking them from deep in the woods.
As the crew looks out the window of their modest cabin they see headlights in the distance, only they haven't moved in the last hour. Brian and Jo must be stuck in a snowdrift. They were running behind the rest of the group on the long journey up to Loveland Pass. Alex and Fredrich grab their shovels and parade their way through the blizzard to help out their stranded friends.
When they finally discover the forsaken truck it's more than they can handle. Blood melts the snow as is pumps rhythmically from Brian's belly. The other passengers are now where to be found. The truck has been scratched from bumper to bumper by hellish claws. Brian is alive, but unable to speak, bleeding to death in the cold winter storm. Alex and Fredrich put his body on their backs and attempt to bring the 250 lb linebacker back to the cabin.
A flash of white slams the body of the steel truck. Too fast to be recognized by panicked eyes. They must stay calm under the pressure if they are to survive. The friends are growing tired under the weight of the body. They run faster, but recognize the danger. They can hear this creature stalking them from the trees. It's found something in the woods, a girl screams. It savagely shreds one of the missing female passengers, starting at the gut and working up to the gullet. This white gorilla like creature is bloodthirsty and on it's way. Do they drop their friend and save themselves? Are they bringing the creature back to house of fresh victims?
This isn't your mother's abominable snowman movie...
I have a 30 page script written and have shot lots of tests on snow exteriors you can see in my reel. All super8mm and super16. After sitting down with a producer and looking things through we could make this film for under 10k on HD or 23k on super16.
