This suspense filled story set in present day South Carolina is about April Powers (27), an attorney who takes on the corrupt system that has framed her father for murdering a family and sentencing him to death. However, April’s mission to save her father’s life and solve the mystery of the killings suffers a huge blow when she is diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer and is whisked into her own rapidly declining time line to death. In a desperate effort to stay alive long enough to save her father; April takes a radical approach towards her treatment as she pursues the potential key witness who can unlock the mystery on her father’s case, or does he?
