Thanks therasoft for giving my pitch another look. I really thought about the guidelines as described to us and kept it sans fx and tried to make it feasible while tapping into a universal emotion. I do have an fx background and had they said that fx were okay, you can bet I would have gone crazy with that. Your comments mean a lot as you are clearly grounded in the production environment and your focused story is in my mind one of the best choices for the top 5 if not the top choice. It is apparent from your pitch that you considered the Massify budget, audience, comments and rules. Your pitch is the only one I have listened to so far that mentions things like controlling extra's and deals clearly with the practicalities that will make or break a video that the Massify community want to be proud of. You also clearly understand that it is easier to finish a video early with a clean and unique concept and have time to shoot more to make it even better--rather than the all too common overly ambitious concept that just becomes unfinished and unseen. Look forward to connecting on other projects.
