Daddy loves you...too much?
Set in Nebraska, 1998. Mark and Jaimie are siblings who are in their rooms one night while their parent's are fighting, again. Just another fight, or so they thought. Mark and Jaimie end up witnessing the death of their beloved mother, and the prison sentence of their cynical father.
Nine years later, now 16 and 17 years old living happily with foster parents, Mark remembers so clearly and vividly what happened all those years ago, but Jaimie doesn't - until one horrifying night their father returns...for them.
This film will be packed with Drama, Crime, Horror, Romance, Tragedy, and Action. How will Mark and Jaimie survive? Or will they just give in and embrace death willingly?

John Dodt Brandon, I read your script and found that it cuts off in the middle of the action in 1998. It's difficult to evaluate it for this particular contest, but I encourage you to continue writing. The scope of the story seems like more of a feature than a short. The section you posted reads like a retelling of the event; the next step would be to go deeper for the story & drama. Keep writing!
