Felix Welles, an agoraphobic, is afraid to leave his house. The outside world becomes too much to handle for the young, paranoid man. Unfortunately, the world inside his house is not much better... it's haunted.

With the help of his wacky therapist, the beautiful girl next door, and some unexpected visitors, Felix must confront the ghosts in his house in order to defeat the demons in his own mind. Will Felix ever experience life, love, and happiness outside in the real world?

Don Saparina It's getting hard to give reviews this late in the game. Especially when everyone before me pretty much said word for word what I was going to say. :(

So I guess I'll just wish you luck... good luck. :)

Josh McKenzie Nice production value on the short. Are you gonna try for director too, if you win? ;)

I only found one thing that seemed contradicting with the story(to me anyway). maybe you could help me out with it. It seems that the character of Felix is stricken with agoraphobia, but he is obviously not in his house in the scene sample. So, if he can manage to actually get out of his house(if need be), then why wouldn't he just leave when the ghosts show up? I don't know, just seemed like an issue to me. Well, I'm now eager to see where it goes.

Good Luck. :-)

Christian Badami I agree. What a great one-liner set up. Clearly big potential with this idea. Just wanted to share with you a couple things that popped into my head reading the pitch...

If this guy is severely agoraphobic, might the fear of going outside be so intense that he can't even make it to his Therapist's office? Could Forrester make special house calls for Felix?

That possibility got me thinking... What if Forrester REFUSED to make house calls, to avoid "enabling" Felix's condition, and so he worked out a special method whereby Felix is actually abducted and kidnapped by a hired crew, each time he has an appointment at the Therapist's office?

The reason this thought jumped out at me, is because I kept suspecting that maybe the whole haunted house element might be an innovative therapy or "trick" that Forrester was playing on Felix to get him to willingly emerge from his home. In that case, a previously established "alternative therapy" method, like abducting Felix for his weekly meetings, would be the perfect plant-and-payoff for that to be revealed later. I know this may sound a bit "Scooby Doo" with the haunting being revealed as an elaborate set up in the end, but I thought I'd throw this wacky thought at you anyway. It may very well be something you've already considered.

I wish you luck, I hope more people take a look at this project because it has great possibilities and it grabbed me right from the start. Excellent pro pitch submission.
