A group of friends decide to go out to the old abandoned state mental hospital for some partying and general mischief. In an old cemetery on the grounds of the hospital one of the group tells the story of Scary Mary.
Scary Mary was sent to the State Mental hospital after killing her husband and drowning her children. She claimed God was speaking to her and that she was his tool of vengence. She gained an odd habit while inside of telling people the date they were going to die. The doctors became worried when the dates started coming true. She once told a doctor that the following day was her death day. The doctors looked for Mary after she went missing the next day. They found her hanging from a tree in the cemetery on the hospital grounds. Rather than deal with the bad publicity they dug a hole directly below her and let her drop. Years later they started to cut down the tree when it began to bleed. The hospital soon closed and ever since people claim to hear laughing and screaming coming from within the building. Scary Mary still roams it's halls.
As the group enters the old hospital each begins to experience strange happenings. Fresh bodies are found in the morgue. When they decide to leave they find the doors barricaded. They have to rely on the stories Allison's grandma told her about the hospital to trek the network of tunnels under the hospital to find a way out and avoid Scary Mary.

March 17, 2008bassgoddess THis isnn't what I thought it would be. I worked there neumerous years and never saw or heard anything out of the ordinary. Yes, the are tunnels, what they called treatment rooms, aka toruture rooms. I never saw of heard any of the above. You can make a ghost house out of anything if you can find someone to falll for it! I think it would be a great place for a scary movie and am anxious to go back for another visit. I would like to work with you on this if you need any help at all. You have my vote for sure.
