OTB

This off the wall story is about a secluded and very bizarre place called OTB and the many characters in this town who are naive and unpredictable fun loving half wits. The story of OTB starts with Hasim Goldberg a pretty boy smooth talking thief who buys into a half baked scheme to find a large sum of cash hidden in the house of a woman who is suspected to be agoraphobic. The story is also centered on a revolutionary group called the OTB Guerillas, who are a small group of young half witted misfits on a mission to bring down the corrupt mayor of OTB. Mayor Franklin is the conniving slick talking politician that we all know and love who uses radical scare tactics on the town to deter the residents from leaving, and keep them working in the toothpick factory.

As the OTB Guerillas attempt to expose the Mayor with useless and whacky futile efforts, Hasim on the other hand busy with trying to get his hands on the hidden cash in order to pay off the extortion demands of the town’s wannabe gangster Yuri. Katie, the Guerilla group leader and Hasim indirectly work together in finding the cash and accidentally discover who and what their town really is. They discover the great mystery that has eluded this unorthodox town for so many and by doing so they may have what they need to free the town from Mayor Franklin once and for all.

OTB is a reflection of the world and its common problems; people desire more out of life, but unfortunately are aware that we are duped into a system that’s bigger than all of us. And it is known as the rat race…
