Don't Forget Sister_" Running Fingers"

As the band members of Low vs Diamond drive to their rehearsal space they are briefly reminded how to be young again. Shot from a moving vehicle, the passing LA scenery becomes a playground for their fingertips by utilizing a simple, in camera, optical effect. By dropping one's hand in front of the lens, aligning the fingertips to the ground and using the index and middle fingers as running legs, anyone can recreate this effect- and this is precisely the idea as we are creating an internet video that will encourage parody with a strong potential to go viral. In the case of the Don't Forget Sister music video, the result will be a flipbook of quick vignettes that will display each band member's unique personality. This is a wonderful way to introduce a band that many people will be seeing for the first time (see pitch video for a full demonstration).
At first, the fingers' actions are passive, simply running alongside the car, dodging traffic and leaping over mailboxes. As the song builds, the fingers become interactive with the outside world, kicking over a bucket, splashing through a puddle, stealing a skateboard and hitting on a girl. The more the band members get carried away, the more fun they have, the more destructive their interactions become.
At the height of the mayhem, a car pulls up next to them. A little girl in the backseat is doing the same finger action as the men of Low vs Diamond. They immediately see themselves reflected in this 7-year-old girl and quickly revert back to their much cooler, more mature personalities. The girl's car drives off leaving the band in an awkward silence. One by one the guys let themselves get carried away again. Imagination wins as they speed past the rehearsal space.

Karen Gagliardi wow...really like the video...guys from the band heading back to home, out for a ride, escaping the crazyness, ...reality check greencheesemedia ( are you just sorry you did not come up with such a simple, easy, funny and out of the box idea....not impressed with anyone shoving a diploma in my face) however, you are intilted to your opinion.

November 28, 2008Natalitta I agreed, I think it is a very clever idea. Simple but interesting. I loved how the fingers progressed into being active with the surroundings as the song builded. Great job! Very well done!!!!!
November 26, 2008Danny Legacy I've seen some negative comments, but I thought this was very clever and refreshing. To me the song is about NOT getting caught up in all the B.S. adulthood can throw at you. Sort of like "The Catcher In The Rye". Well done in my opinion - I think it will be very well received.
