February 7, 2010Diane Ingino Unique story, but I agree that the logline doesn't really express what's in the script (or visa versa). I understand that he's crying over the pretense he lives under, but he's gone to the hotel with a purpose in mind. I assume he's already done lots of crying and anguished soul-searching. Not that that's over, but obviously, he doesn't shave regularly and this is the moment he's seized for himself -- so, why go there and shave, dress, put on makeup just to sit down and read? I'd like to see the man look himself in the mirror after crying and throw his shoulders back with resolve, then head out of the room. We need to root for him, not feel sorry for him. Lots of potential here - congrats on being selected!

January 16, 2010Garrett A Lain I like the concept, especially that this time he checks in to the hotel is more intense because he is stepping forward into his transition to a woman. And it possibly still leaves the viewer with questions of how far he will eventually go and what will happen next. I can see the coverage of him in the hotel, the intensity, the shaving, all being very captivating.
